Watch Kanye West’s ‘FADE’ Video Starring Teyana Taylor

By BiscayneHipHop

By Jake Miosge

One year after announcing his run for president, Kanye West returned to the stage at the VMAs to premiere his new video for “Fade,” his Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone-assisted single off The Life of Pablo.

After shouting out Beyoncé and Amber Rose, Mr. West once again had everyone talking with his latest video starring none other than his G.O.O.D. Music signee Teyana Taylor.

The new mom showed off her banging body in the provocative clip, which finds her dancing in a gym while dripping sweat. After an intense workout, she enters the shower and makes out with her real life husband, NBA champ Iman Shumpert.

As if that wasn’t enough, the closing scene finds Teyana as a cat alongside her husband and eight-month-old daughter Junie…and a group of sheep.

Watch the hot and steamy four minutes below.

Video: Chris Brown – Grass Ain’t Greener

By BiscayneHipHop

By Jake Miosge

Chris Brown is on the hunt for his ex in the dark and mysterious video for his May single, “Grass Ain’t Greener.”

Decked out in Black Pyramid clothing, Breezy and his homies jump in a Rolls-Royce Phantom and head to a private party in the middle of nowhere just to find that special girl. Once they reach their destination in the forest, they find neon lights, bubbles, pyramids, and girls kissing girls. And of course, Chris takes the opportunity to show off his slick dance moves.

“That grass ain’t greener on the other side,” he sings. “My homie said I need to stop it / My momma said bitches be watching you / They gon’ put their hand all in your pocket / For the credit card that’s in your wallet.”

“Grass” is set to appear on Brown’s forthcoming LP, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, the follow-up to last year’s Royalty.

Watch Breezy light up the night in the dance-heavy clip.

Tory Lanez – ‘I Told You’ Album Review

By BiscayneHipHop

By Krysisha Conly

“I am going to be the biggest artist in the world.” Very strong words from the ‘Say It‘ singer Tory Lanez. He reminds us of that in every interview and project he’s released. He made sure to not to let us forget and reminded us again, in the first song off his new album, ‘I Told You.’

For over 6 years, Lanez has been properly preparing us for his long awaited album ‘I Told You.’ For his first album he took a different approach and instead of giving us just great radio hits, he decided to tell us his story of why he deserves to be here.

As the narrator, Lanez starts us off with a scene for the first song, ‘I Told You/Another One‘ by introducing us to his 16-year-old self, Daystar Peterson, in the year 2008. The scene quickly jumps into his grandmother telling him to go get a job to suddenly straight kicking him out the crib. Which transitions straight into the song ‘I Told You/Another One,’ where Lanez give us a more detailed run down of what his next move was going to be.

Throughout the album, Lanez is giving us his story and showing us his various stages of life to how he has gotten to this point of where he is today. The skits were very well constructed and the songs were perfectly placed. There were nothing but smooth transitions listening to it from front to back. None of the transitions and skits wouldn’t have mattered without the lyrics in the songs that followed. From track ‘To D.R.E.A.M.,’ to ‘Question Is,’ and to ‘Loners Blvd,’ listening to those songs, you can hear that Lanez dug deep and got very personal. No matter how different his situation maybe from yours, in a sense, it was still relatable.

Kid Red – “Who Run It” [Video]

By BiscayneHipHop

By Kaitlin

Cali’s Kid Red unleashed his latest visual off of “Guilty By Assciation” yesterday via Hot New Hip Hop. “Who Run It” is a remake of Biggie’s iconic song, “Get Money” courtesy of Kacey Khaliel and provides a perfectly laid back though catchy backdrop for Kid’s syrupy flow. To hear him tell it, Kid Red is ‘so next’ and with the pedigree of his industry mentors: Rodney Jerkins, The Game and most recently, Chris Brown, it would impossible to deny that claim.

“Guilty By Association” also features appearances by Chris Brown, Migos, French Montana, Skeme and Rockie Fresh amongst others with the boardwork being provided by fellow Fillmoe native Zaytoven, Ear Drummers, Stupid X Dope, Scorp Diesel, Magnificent, Jesse P, Blaq Tuxedo, Murda Beatz and of course Kacey Khaliel. Look for the project soon.

By BiscayneHipHop

Houston up-and-comer, SVN, has every reason to be feeling pretty good about life right now. His single, “9000 Bissonnet”, for which todays video was shot, has climbed organically past 31K plays on Soundcloud in the few months since its release and his follow-up project, “Second Sunday”, is in the can and set for a September 29th release.

“The song is about moving from South Park, Houston, Texas; where I knew everyone and felt safe to moving to the Southwest side of Houston were I didn’t know anyone and had to fend for myself. It’s a coming of age story…My inspiration for the video was showing that I AM the city of Houston and the city of Houston is ME. That’s why the intro scene is of me with Houston inside of my silhouette.” – SVN
