DJ JayHood – “To The Max” ft. Fetty Wap

By BiscayneHipHop

By Kaitlin

New Jersey’s DJ JayHood recently made headlines yesterday and today when DJ Khaled allegedly sampled JayHood’s T2 “Heartbroken” remix on his collab with Drake, “To the Max,” as first reported by The Fader.

For his part, JayHood reports he’s a fan of both Khaled and Drake, and there are no hard feelings.

Today, he’s dropping off his debut single, which features some major star power and New Jersey fixture, Mr. 1738 himself, Fetty Wap. The record is called “I’m Ballin.” The radio-ready banger is a bop, and is released by Street Loyalty Entertainment in collaboration with RGF productions.

PeleBoY – “Up Down” ft. Tony K [Video]

By BiscayneHipHop

By Kaitlin

PeleBoY delivers a visual for the Tony K-assisted “Up Down.” This hard-hitting track touches on the ups and downs of life. With both rappers hailing from the city of Detroit, a place that has had it’s fair share of ups and downs, the message is fervent and firsthand. With the Motor City going to financial ruin, its recent days show a potential upshot. Detroit is making a comeback in a major way with the building of a new arena, transit systems, and several major brands and tech companies calling the metropolis home.

In the video you get a glimpse of modern day Detroit from Belle Isle to Hart Plaza and everything in between. Tony K, who also directed the video, wanted to show the positive aspects of Detroit, the historic architecture and its famous landmarks. Check it out here.
