Cha$e Royale – Royale Reigns [Mixtape]

Maryland based MC Cha$e Royale looks to carve out his own niche in the rap game and takes his first stab at the throne with his debut project “Royale Reigns.” Having honed his skills for years, the 22-year-old showcases an impressive array of lyricism over some smooth boom bap-esque cuts which harken back to Hip-Hop’s golden era, with some new school flavor for good measure. You’ve been seeing producer/emcee Steezefield‘s name around here a lot as of lately. I just caught wend of dudes dope music and I’m truly a fan. If you’re not already one, hopefully you’ll be inched that much closer to becoming one after hearing his latest record “Said That.”

This first single off his forthcoming Leave a Light On, Please EP features assistance from fellow Illinois-native and frequent collaborator Alex Jordahl with atmospheric production created by the likes of Stwo. Together, the two artist align their signature downtempo and mellow styles, dropping a host of introspective lines.

One of them is 19-year-old emcee Billy Chambers who recently dropped off an uptempo new joint entitled “Followers.” The bouncy, synth-laden record comes as Billy ends a short hiatus and features the likes of his fellow Maryland-native Solomonilla. After capturing the attention of many through her song covers via YouTube, Def Jam’s 18-year-old Brampton songstress, Alessia Caracciolo, is ready to show the world more of her talents as a songwriter. For her first act, the Canadian-Italian cutie connects with producers Pop & Oak and Sebastian Kole for her debut single “Here.”

“‘Here’ is a song for all the antisocial, awkward, and miserable party-goers of the world.” says Alessia. “This one time I went to a party and while there, I realized how much I hated it, along with every other party I had ever gone to. We wrote about it the next day.”

Lead by Willow Smith and producer Daniel D’Artiste, the MSFTSRep’s are out here doing the damn thing. Today we’re introduced to another member from the young creative crew, an artist named dylAn. Over funky production by his older brother Daniel D’artiste, the rising California artist shines on “Stephulka V3″ effortlessly as he details his girl issues to his friend over the phone.

“It’s my most informative song to date,” dylAn says. “If you listen to it closely you’ll know more about me. I want my music to be personal so it feels like people are getting to know me as I change and progress. Makes the whole experience a little better. The time just felt right to drop it, all of the questions addressed coincide with my EP, lowercase A, as well as my album, A.”
