2 Good Lo took a leap of faith in quitting his job last year to hone in even more on music. The rapper didn’t waste any time in the studio after making this decision. “In March, I dropped ‘The Good Life: Season 1′, and shot two videos for that. Then, in August, I dropped “The Good Life: Free Admission”, and then dropped three videos for that,” said the artist. Months later, 2 Good Lo is back to bringing the heat with “The Good Life: Season 2”, which he released just last week. In this method of releasing music, the rapper has seen a steady increase in his following with each project he drops. His social media is a true testament of this, as the followers are flooding in at an astounding rate.
Fans can find his newest mixtape on all digital music streaming platforms. His single, “Waves” featuring Rico Nasty, has been keeping his fans steadily buzzing, as it became an instant hit. The entire visual aspect down to the cover art for his latest project is completely unreal. “In the center of ‘The Good Life: Season 2′ album art, it’s me wearing a crown, because that’s what I’m chasing. On the left side, you have me in the white robe, and on the other side, I’m wearing a red robe. So, my conscious is playing a role in this whole mixtape as well. I’m speaking through myself in the project.” He plans to continue this process of accompanying each musical project with a visual to match.

Two years ago Pitbull signed this talented Louisiana native to his label Mr 305 Inc. as a songwriter, calling him a goldmine. In that time Will Peters has written songs for Pitbull, as well as Austin Mahone, Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Sutta and more. Now it is time for the Southern U grad who writes, plays piano & percussion, produces, engineers AND raps & sings to come out of the shadows and release music under his own name. On “Nah Nah” Will teams with childhood friend and longtime collaborator Dice Soho as together they put a ‘sometimey’ chick in her place. Expect more gems from these two in the future.

Well known nationwide for his high-caliber hip hop, hot new music video and Billboard top 10 single, Tha Native is poised to take Native American Hip Hop to another level – straight to the top. Those who enjoy a lyrical, metaphorical, hard to immediately grasp writer, may deem his single “Whatcha Wanna Do” feat Tech N9ne a potential notebook classic.
Hailing from the San Manuel Indian Reservation in sunny southern California, Tha Native is keen to remember his roots – and celebrate them. The homelands of the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians has shaped their culture, traditions and present lives. The people at the San Manuel reservation are the indigenous people of the San Bernardino highlands, passes, valleys, and mountains who the Spaniards collectively called the Serrano, a term meaning highlander. The Serrano looked to nature and the land to provide the necessities of life including shelter, clothing, food and plants used for medicine.
Bucking trends and paving his own way, Tha Native balances his own worldviews with those of his ancestry, and his musical expressions are a powerful reminder of a long journey. Touring with acts like Tech N9ne and Kottonmouth Kings, and playing large festivals like the Smokeout and Rock the Bells, Tha Native is prepared to make his ascent and join the ranks of hip hop elite – all the while honoring and remembering where he came from.
